Decoding your milk.

Milk changes throughout the day, across feedings, and over the course of lactation. Milkprint does not try to reduce your milk to a single “good” or “bad” score. Instead, we give you a clearer snapshot of a moment in time — with context, education, and trends when you test more than once.

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know

What is Milkprint?
Milkprint is an at-home breast milk testing kit that helps you understand the composition of your milk through a personalized Milkprint results dashboard. Results vary by testing tier, from core milk composition to deeper nutritional, lifestyle exposure, allergen, and mineral insights.
Is Milkprint a medical test?
No. Milkprint is an educational wellness product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. You should discuss any health-related decisions with your pediatrician, lactation consultant, registered dietitian, or healthcare provider.
Who is Milkprint for?
Milkprint is for breastfeeding or pumping mothers who want more visibility into their breast milk. It may be especially interesting for moms who are curious about milk composition, tracking diet changes, exploring possible sensitivities with their provider, combo-feeding, or simply wanting more data.
What does Milkprint test for?
Milkprint testing varies by tier. Milkprint Core analyzes basic milk composition. Milkprint Advanced adds fatty acids, select micronutrients, and lifestyle exposure markers. Milkprint Complete adds allergen protein screening, select drug exposure screening, and expanded mineral testing. Please reference the “Reserve your kit” section for complete tests by product.
Can Milkprint tell me if my milk is “good”?
No, and we do not believe moms need a scorecard. Breast milk is naturally variable and highly personal. Milkprint provides a snapshot of your submitted sample with context, not a judgment of your milk or your feeding choices.
Can I use Milkprint to make feeding decisions?
Milkprint can help you have a more informed conversation with your healthcare provider, lactation consultant, or pediatrician. It should not be used as the sole basis for changing your baby’s feeding plan.
How much does the kit cost?
Milkprint Core is $99 and currently sold out for pre-orders. Milkprint Advanced is $499. Milkprint Complete is $799. Please reference the “Reserve your kit” section for the full breakdown of what’s included in each tier.
When will kits ship?
The first Milkprint kits are expected to ship in early August 2026.
Can I test more than once?
Yes. Milkprint is designed to support repeat testing so you can track changes over time. This may be helpful if you are changing your diet, adding supplements, returning to work, pumping more often, or moving through different stages of lactation.
Why does breast milk change over time?
Breast milk composition can vary based on time of day, stage of lactation, maternal diet, hydration, collection timing, and whether the sample contains more foremilk or hindmilk. That natural variation is part of why context matters.
